Planning for 2026

As we are in full swing with planning for next year, I encourage families to please advise us if you are planning to change schools. Student enrolment numbers are crucial for so many elements of our planning, so the more we know now, the better plan we can create!

I also encourage you to let anyone know who may be intending to enrol at Hillsmeade to do so ASAP. Enrolments for 2026 will close early December due to the need for effective transition and enrolment processes to take place.

Arrangements for Cup Day Eve - Monday 3rd November

As seen in a recent Compass post, class teachers will not be available on this day. A completely alternate plan will be in place. If your child is attending, please send them to the gym at the start of the day, where plans will be put in place based on the number of students in attendance.

2026 Prep Transition STARTING SOON!

We are very excited to start welcoming our new students for next year, with the commencement of our official Prep Transition program on Tuesday 28th October. Children will be able to start to grasp the concept of 'big school', engaging with other students, our staff and taking part in a range of activities. It's an exciting time for everyone!

We ask that our prep 2026 families please stay for the presentations that will be made at the first three sessions, to ensure your transition to Hillsmeade PS is as smooth as it can be.
