70 Year Jubilee 

1954 - 2024

Macleod College (formerly Macleod High School) is celebrating its 70th Jubilee this year on Friday 28 June  from 4.30pm - 7.30pm.

We will also be holding a Jubilee Dinner on Friday September 6 at Casa D"Abruzzo Club Epping.  Details and bookings will be available on our website soon.

In 1954 the school was not completed for the start of the school year. Students travelled to Westgarth Central School, where staggered hours were organised.  Occupation of Macleod High School occurred on June 1 with an enrolment of 229 Form 1 students and 11 staff.

The school was officially opened by Dame Flora Macleod, 28th Chief of Clan Macleod, Dunvegan Castle, Isle of Skye on November 13 1954.
