Second-Hand Uniform Shop

The Second-Hand Uniform Shop operates every Thursday afternoon from 3 til 3.45pm. It is situated above the hall, up two flights of stairs from the entrance near the Library (the new Uniform shop is on the first floor) and is run by a few dedicated volunteers.

We are really keen to have some more uniform items to sell. Remember that we sell on consignment: the owner of the uniform gets 70% of our selling price (which is determined by the quality of the item, usually half the new price), and the school keeps 30%. We process our sales at the end of each term and the amounts owed are deposited into your child’s school account, or directly into your bank account if your child has left the school.

Please fill out a form with all your details and the items you are selling. These are available at the office and there is one printed in this newsletter. And we are always happy to accept donations as well – just drop them off at the school office. Last year the shop raised nearly $6000 for Student Wellbeing – thank you very much for all those who helped make that happen!

We are very short of dresses to sell at the moment so would be grateful for people bringing in ones that no longer fit. If anyone is interested in becoming involved with the Second-hand uniform shop, I would love to hear from you! More helpers are needed to keep the shop going and some of our current volunteers do not have children at the school anymore – thanks so much Judy!

Second-hand Books

Thank you very much to all those who took part in our Second hand Book sale last year. We raised over $3000 for Student Wellbeing. Particular thanks go to those parents who helped out with pricing and selling – we couldn’t have done it without you!

We have some left-over books that are still available if needed. If you would like to purchase one, please ask at the Second-hand uniform shop or let the office know, and we can put one aside for you.

This important service can only continue if we have sufficient volunteers.
