Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Team has been dedicated to fostering a strong connection with the Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service – Aboriginal Corporation. We believe that engaging with local health services, such as TAMS-AC, offers significant benefits to our school community. TAMS-AC provides culturally appropriate, bulk-billed healthcare services designed to improve health outcomes for both Aboriginal Peoples and non-Aboriginal individuals in Tamworth and surrounding areas.

We encourage all families within our school community to consider utilising the comprehensive services offered by TAMS-AC, which include:

• Clinical Services: General practice care, chronic disease management, vaccinations, maternal and child health services and on-site pathology.
• Social & Emotional Wellbeing Services: Holistic mental health support addressing emotional and social needs within a culturally sensitive framework.
• Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs Programs: Education, prevention, treatment and support for substance misuse, tailored to the needs of the community.
