Sports Update

Division Interschool Netball

On Friday the 31st of July 9 grade 5/6 students headed to Gloria Pyke Netball Centre to play in the Division Mixed Netball Finals. The teams first game was against Heatherhill primary school. The team enjoyed playing indoors and dominated with a 24 to 0 win. During the team’s second and final game Silverton played against Dandenong North primary school this game was a tougher contest and required all players to dig deep to come away with a 12 to 4 point win. The boys and girls in the mixed netball team will now head to the Regional Netball Finals for the second year in a row. These finals will be held at Somerville Sports Complex on Friday the 21st of August, Good Luck on the day.

Athletics Carnivals

Our Junior and Senior Athleticsevents were held last week, with students showing fantastic effort, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the day. A big congratulations to everyone who participated!
