Years 5/6 Basketball Regional Tournament Echuca
The 5/6 Basketball team had a great day in Echuca on Friday 13 October. They played against St Mary’s Echuca, St Joseph’s Rochester, Tongala, Moama Grammar and Echuca 208. It was a wonderful experience and they performed extremely well against some very talent and experienced basketball players. They were able to win 2 games, draw 1 (in a bit of controversy) and they lost 2 to the semi finalists from our section. All boys were very supportive of one another and showed great sportsmanship, recognising very good play from their opposition. The team consisted of Babah Baria, Savyeon Barnachea, Kade Starling, Seb Greely, Zak Virivirilau, Zaeem Ishola, Lachlan King, Rhys Parsons and Sam Stokes. It was lovely to have some parents supporting throughout the day. Thank you to Will Mitchell for his organisation and being our scorer for the day.
