Legacy Badge Selling
On Friday 8th September students assisted in raising funds for Legacy Hamilton by selling badges in the CBD. Whilst numbers were light, we managed to raise $2,967 for the day. Alan Olive from Legacy was grateful for the assistance from our students and wanted to let their families know how wonderful the kids were on the day.
Further feedback was received from the Hon Dan Tehan MP, who reported back to the school that he was very impressed with our students when he encountered them, and we returned to school to hear a message on the answering machine from an anonymous lady who wanted to let us know that the three students she spoke to outside the National bank were "an absolute credit to your school, polite, well mannered, spoke to me and looked me in the eye." Badge selling builds social skills and promotes our school in the greater Hamilton Community as well as helping an honorable cause, I would like to thank every student for taking the responsibility on and conducting themselves in the manner that they did, true Baimbridge ambassadors.

Student Voice - Literally!
You may have noticed that our students are involved in our promotional advertising on the radio. We let the kids speak for themselves and in some circumstances we go the extra mile.
You may know our VCE VM Leadership Rep Max, he studies the VM course whilst working two days a week at MIXX FM and is set to go to off to Audio Engineering SAE in Melbourne next year. We use Max to voice our ads frequently as he has the BEST voice and nobody says "Pride, Courage and Respect" quite like Max.
For the Alice In Wonderland production promotion we took a few of the leads down with Max to voice the ads and Max ended up producing the whole thing for us. So proud of you Max and love to see students achieving their goals.
Legacy Centenary Torch Relay
The Legacy Centenary Torch Relay 2023, presented by Defence Health started on 23 April 2023 in Pozières France.
After travelling through London, which is the only Legacy Club outside of Australia, the Torch will travel to all 44 Legacy Clubs in Australia.
Legacy Australia called for volunteers around Australia to assist on the day with local Relays and our Principal Warwick Price answered.
As a mark of respect to our relationship with Legacy Hamilton, our connection to community, he joined student Milly and our Cadet students in taking part in the historic event. Milly has cooked breakfast at Legacy house on ANZAC day for a few years now and attends all ceremonies so she was the perfect person to invite.
The students lined the road to watch the changeover happen on the day.
