Well done to everyone who took part in the Great South West Engineering Competition! Our students did really well in various competitions and came up with awesome ideas to solve the engineering problems they were given. Some of them even made new friends from different schools. It was a really cool experience, and if you like science, I totally suggest you join in next year!
Students from Branxholme Wallacedale Primary School, Penshurst Primary School and Macarthur got to experience our state of the art labs and next level science during their visit this term. Designed to spark curiosity, the activities had students creating, testing, observing and analysing. We loved having the students and were very impressed with their willingness to learn and 'can do' attitudes.
We hosted a Roller Coaster Engineering Competition in our Applied Science class, and our students have done amazing work with their projects. It is inspiring to witness the creativity and dedication our students have put into problem-solving. Whether you've won or not, we are extremely proud of your efforts.
