THE ARTS

Two Weeks with the Queen

Mrs Sam Olding

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the Combined Saints Youth Theatre on their outstanding production of Two Weeks with the Queen by Mary Morris, adapted from the novel by Morris Gleitzman. After months of dedication, commitment and countless rehearsals, students brought this beloved story to life before large and appreciative audiences. The production successfully captured both the humour and heartfelt emotion of the play, taking audiences on a journey filled with laughter, reflection and genuine emotion. The overwhelmingly positive feedback received is a testament to the talent, hard work and professionalism displayed by everyone involved. From the performers on stage to the students working behind the scenes, every member of the company contributed to the success of this memorable production.

Both St Augustine's College and St Monica's College are incredibly proud of your achievements. Bravo on a truly remarkable season

Celebrating Success in the Arts

Our Visual Art students proudly participated in the Energy Exhibition at Tanks Arts Centre, where their outstanding artwork was recently showcased to the wider community for two weeks. The exhibition provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creativity, skill and artistic talent of the young men here at Saints.

We are especially proud to announce that Marcus received the PAEA Emerging Artist Award for his impressive painting, The Past. This prestigious recognition is a testament to Marcus’s dedication, creativity and artistic ability.

Congratulations to Marcus and all of our exhibiting students for representing Saints with such pride and excellence. We look forward to seeing their artistic journeys continue to flourish.
