Swimming Carnival
Congratulations to Walter House, crowned champions of the 2026 Swimming Carnival!
In a thrilling result, Walter denied Heavey House a clean sweep of the major sporting carnivals, with Heavey having already secured both the Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals earlier this year. The competition was fierce and Walter rose to the occasion with an outstanding team performance.
The carnival was a fantastic celebration of House spirit, sportsmanship and participation. Student involvement across all year levels was at an all-time high, with our Year 12 students setting the standard through their enthusiasm, leadership and encouragement of younger students throughout the day.
While time did not permit the announcement of our Age Champions at the carnival, medals will be presented at Parade next Monday. Their photos will be featured in the next newsletter.
Well done to all students who participated and contributed to making the day such a tremendous success!
Schools Junior Volleyball Cup
The Year 7 and 8 volleyball team recently attended the Schools Junior Volleyball Cup hosted by Smithfield High School. It was a wonderful tournament with 11 teams involved from as far south as Ingham and west to Ravenshoe. Our boys competed strongly improving with skill as the day progressed.
