A time of reflection, gratitude and achievement
As our Senior Class of 2026 approaches Valedictory, we take a moment to acknowledge a remarkable chapter in the life of our college. Many of these young men first walked through our gates six years ago as Year 7 students. Since then, they have grown as learners, leaders, brothers and friends. They have celebrated successes, navigated challenges and contributed richly to the spirit of our community. Guided by the Marist characteristics of love of work, presence and family spirit, they now leave us not only with academic achievements, but with the character, values and sense of purpose that will serve them well in the years ahead.
As St Marcellin Champagnat reminds us, “To educate children, you must love them, and love them all equally.” Throughout their time at Saints, staff and families have worked in partnership to nurture each young man academically, spiritually and personally. We are immensely proud of all they have accomplished and grateful for the contribution they have made to college life.
Supporting success during external assessments
As our Year 12 students commence their external assessments, we encourage them to remain focused on preparation, wellbeing and balance. While this can be an exciting time, it is also natural to experience feelings of pressure or anxiety. Students are encouraged to do the following:
Seek support from teachers, family members and peers when needed.
Follow a structured study routine and break revision into manageable tasks.
Create a quiet and productive study environment.
Maintain balance through exercise, family time and recreational activities.
Prioritise sleep and recovery, aiming for approximately eight hours of sleep each night.
We wish all our Year 12 students every success as they complete this final stage of their schooling.
Year 11 examination block
Our Year 11 students will end their Unit 2 studies with their end-of-year examination block in Week 4, running from Tuesday to Friday. This important assessment period provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning and further develop the examination skills required for Units 3 and 4.
We wish all Year 11 students every success and encourage them to approach the examination block with confidence, organisation and determination.
2027 Subject selections and academic calendars
Year 8 subject selections for 2027 are now being finalised. Parents and carers of Years 7–10 students will receive confirmation emails regarding their elective enrolments in coming weeks as preparations begin for the 2027 academic year. Please note that final student timetables will not be confirmed until the first day of Term 1 next year.
Assessment Planners for Years 7-11 are available on MyCE under Schools/Documents/Assessment Planners or by clicking here
An important assessment reminder
Parents and students are reminded that, in line with the College Assessment Policy, requests to reschedule an examination or apply for an assessment extension must be supported by appropriate documentation, including a medical certificate where applicable.
We thank parents and carers for their ongoing support throughout this important period and wish all our senior students every success in their upcoming assessments.
