ABOUT THE SCHOOL SAVING BONUS
The Victorian Government is delivering the School Saving Bonus – a one-off $400 support for government school students from Prep to Year 12 in 2025.

The Department of Education sent parents/carers an email in November 2024 with a code to access the portal for this funding.

USING SCHOOL SAVING BONUS FOR SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
The School Saving Bonus can be used towards excursions and activities. If you wish to do this, you will need to complete the following:
- Allocate the desired amount (from the voucher options available) on the School Saving Bonus portal to School Activities.
- Email wyndham.central.sc@education.vic.gov.au to notify us to use the School Saving Bonus funds towards to relevant excursion/activity.
- Ensure you have provided consent for the excursion/activity on Compass.
USING SCHOOL SAVING BONUS FOR TEXTBOOKS/UNIFORMS
The School Saving Bonus can be used towards textbooks or uniforms until 30 June 2025. This can be done by obtaining a voucher from the School Saving Bonus portal or by taking the code (from the Department of Education email) to the store.
After this date, any remaining School Saving Bonus funds will be allocated to School Activities to be used towards excursions and activities.
