Room 9 & 10 Highlights

Reconciliation Walk Excursion
This week students recently enjoyed a meaningful excursion to Highbury, where they participated in the Reconciliation Walk.
Travelling by bus, students were excited to explore the local area and deepen their understanding of reconciliation and the importance of recognising and respecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and histories.
Throughout the walk, students engaged with stories and important messages about connection to Country, community, and shared responsibility.
The experience provided valuable opportunities for discussion and reflection, helping students make connections to their learning in the classroom.
The excursion was both educational and enjoyable, and our students represented the school with pride through their respectful behaviour and thoughtful participation.
We are proud of the way they embraced this important learning experience and look forward to continuing our learning journey around reconciliation throughout the year.
