Vegetable Garden Update

Millgrove Vegetable Garden

We are excited to see the wonderful progress of our new vegetable garden at the Millgrove campus. The planters were installed over the holidays, and Fran and the students have been busy planting seeds over the first few weeks of term. While there are still a few things to complete, it has been fantastic to get started, and we are all looking forward to watching our plants grow and enjoying the garden together. We are also very excited for the Millgrove Kinder students to begin planting in their veggie patch and to see their garden come to life over the coming months.

We planted snow peas and cos lettuce mix in Gardening Elective, in the new Garden Beds. We had to water the plants a lot. We covered the lettuce with a mini hot house by cutting the bottles in half.
