ACC Lightning Carnivals

On Monday, 12 May and Tuesday, 13 May the ACC Lightning Carnivals were held. These events are an opportunity for students to represent Lumen Christi College in a variety of sporting teams but in a less competitive environment than SASJ.

184 students nominated for the teams, with Lumen sending teams for Year 7 Boys Soccer (two teams), Year 7 Boys AFL (one team), and Year 7 Girls Netball (three teams) on Monday. On Tuesday, the Year 8/9 Lightning Carnival saw four boys soccer teams, one boys AFL team, two girls AFLX teams, and four girls netball teams compete.

Played in perfect weather, teams on both days were very successful.

Scores are not kept throughout the carnivals, but all students who attended had a wonderful time representing their school.
