Grand Prix Excursion

On Thursday the 21st of March, 31 students across grades 5 and 6 had the opportunity to attend the opening day of the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix at Albert Park.

These students were selected based on their written application which demonstrated why they're passionate about motor sports and why they would like to go. The 31 lucky students chosen displayed a great passion for motor sports, in addition to exemplifying our school values.

The students were enthralled by the supercars racing along the track, before the group went and explored the education hub where they interacted with old F1 vehicles, sat on police motorcycles and learnt about the engineering involved with creating such fast cars.

After a big day of exploring the grounds, we wrapped up the day by taking our seats in the grandstand and watching the impressive supercars zoom around the iconic Albert Park track.

Everybody had a great time whilst representing EVPS to a very high standard!
