Chicken Club Tuesday’s
Students have been very enthusiastic with Chicken Club on Tuesday.
They have helped out with feeding the chickens some fresh produce which is supplied weekly from our local Woolworths Epping North. The students have discovered that the chickens' favourite food is green lettuce.
Watering our trees in our garden has been a hit with the students. They have learnt that the chicken manure is a great fertiliser for the tree plants.
We have a lemon tree, an olive tree, an apple tree and a plum tree growing in our school garden.
We are looking for watering cans that can be donated to our school garden. If you have any watering cans that you would like to donate, can you please bring them into the school. Thank you.
We have been growing pumpkins in our garden. Have a look at how big it has grown.
Caleb from 2EK was amazed at how heavy and big it has grown. Caleb thinks it weighs 100 kgs. It will make a great pumpkin soup.
Can you guess the weight of our pumpkin?
Here is some feedback from the students at EVPS
