Wellbeing Report

As we reach the end of another busy and successful term, the Wellbeing team would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our students, families, and staff for their ongoing support and commitment to our school community.
This term has been filled with many exciting learning opportunities, special events, and achievements. We are incredibly proud of the effort, resilience, and growth demonstrated by our students both in and out of the classroom.
The school holidays provide a wonderful opportunity for students to rest, recharge, and spend quality time with family and friends. We encourage everyone to take some time to enjoy the break, stay active and explore new interests.
Holiday Activities
Our local councils have many activities that are run throughout the school holidays for children to engage, explore and learn! All details can be found through the links below:
Starting Secondary School – Parent Information Session
Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone for young people and their families, but it can also bring questions, challenges, and uncertainty. To support parents and carers through this important transition, Hobsons Bay Youth Services is hosting a free Starting Secondary School information session in August.
This workshop will provide practical information and strategies to help families prepare for the move to secondary school, including supporting independence, managing friendships, navigating new routines, and promoting student wellbeing. It is a valuable opportunity for parents and carers of current Year 6 students to gain insights, ask questions, and feel more confident about the transition ahead.
Registrations for this webinar hosted by Hobsons Bay Youth Services can be done using the link below:
On behalf of all staff, we wish our students and families a safe, happy, and enjoyable holiday break.
We look forward to seeing you all next term!
