Year Seven-Nine

 Coaching Parade Campus

Physical Education

It has been a fantastic and highly active period in Physical Education for our Year 7–9 students, with a strong focus on participation, skill development and enjoyment.

Students have had the opportunity to continue to engage in a range of exciting offsite programs. These have included crew gym and boxing sessions, where students developed their fitness, coordination and resilience, as well as golf sessions at Sanctuary Lakes Golf Club, which allowed students to refine their technique and experience the game in a real-world setting with a professional coach. In addition, students have participated in soccer and tennis sessions, continuing to build their skills, teamwork and game understanding.

Across all activities, students have demonstrated excellent engagement, enthusiasm and positive attitudes, with many embracing new challenges and stepping outside their comfort zones. It has been particularly pleasing to see such high levels of participation and enjoyment.

We have also been proud to represent the school in interschool sport, with teams competing in badminton, soccer, netball and cross country. These events showcased not only students’ athletic abilities but also their sportsmanship and teamwork.

A special congratulations goes to our Year 7 boys’ soccer team, who achieved an outstanding result, coming away with the overall win against other schools in our area. This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of their effort, teamwork and commitment.

We look forward to continuing to build on this momentum throughout the year, with more opportunities for students to stay active, develop their skills and enjoy being involved in Physical Education. Stay tuned for some exciting new activities happening in Semester 2.
