Middle School
As Term 1 comes to a close, we are proud to acknowledge the strong and successful start our Middle School students have made this year. Students have transitioned smoothly, developed new relationships, and demonstrated a positive and committed approach to their learning.
One of the key highlights this term was the Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences. These sessions provided students with the opportunity to reflect on their learning, discuss their progress, and set meaningful goals for the term ahead. We sincerely thank our families for their ongoing support and involvement in these important conversations.
As part of our Nine-Finity program, our Year 9 students participated in a collaborative fundraising project throughout the term. This initiative was highly successful, with strong support from both students and staff across the school.
Our Year 10 students also engaged in the Man Cave program and the Big Sister event. These experiences were both meaningful and impactful, with student feedback indicating they found the sessions engaging, informative, and relevant to their lives. They have also been involved in preparations for the Queensland Camp and upcoming Day Trips at the end of Term 2 with much excitement! As we approach Term 2, students will begin preparing for their end of semester exams. We encourage all students to continue building positive study habits, stay organised, and seek support when needed. A consistent approach and effort will place them in a strong position for success.
As we look ahead to Term 2, we would like to remind families that blazers are required to be worn to and from school throughout Terms 2 and 3. If there are any concerns or challenges regarding this expectation, please do not hesitate to get in touch so we can provide support.
