Junior School

As we reach the end of Term 1, it is wonderful to reflect on what has been a positive and productive start to the year in the Junior School. Our students have settled in well, built new connections and demonstrated a strong commitment to their learning.
A highlight of the term was our recent Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences. These meetings provided a valuable opportunity for students to take ownership of their learning, share their progress and set goals for the term ahead. We thank our families for their ongoing support and engagement in these important conversations.
Our Year 7 students also enjoyed a fantastic excursion to Bounce alongside their Year 12 buddies. This experience not only allowed students to build relationships across year levels but also helped strengthen our sense of community. It was wonderful to see the leadership of our senior students and the enthusiasm of our newest members of the school.
As we look ahead to Term 2, we would like to remind families that blazers are required to be worn to and from school throughout Terms 2 and 3. If there are any concerns or difficulties with this expectation, please do not hesitate to contact me so we can provide support (jasmine.jinadasa@education.vic.gov.au).
We wish all of our students and families a safe, restful, and enjoyable school holiday break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed for Term 2.
