Grade 5/6 Newsletter

Week 7/8 - Grade 5 and 6 students had an awesome time at Marysville camp recently.
Despite the rain, the students had a blast taking part in exciting outdoor activities amongst the stunning autumnal colours, challenging themselves and pushing past some existing fears. They built new friendships and learnt about the history of the bushfires that devasted the area and the amazing resilience of the locals who rebuilt Marysville to what it is today.
Packed, ready and excited to get going!
Fresh, clean and up for an adventure!
The nature was stunning, and then straight into activities.

We enjoyed being together - during meal times, in other indoor and night time activities and when we got to go to the local old fashioned lolly shop and explore Marysville township.
We even had a birthday on the last day - Happy Birthday Tracey!
The teacher's had a little fun too!
The non-campers had fun at school too. They were taken out for lunch, enjoyed designing their own world cup footy jersey, had games at the parkand much more.
To top off an exciting couple of weeks, our Grade 6 student designed t-shirts arrived.
We are pretty pleased with the final outcome - we think they look awesome!
