Swimming Carnival 

SOC was blessed with a perfect day for the first House Carnival of the year. The sun was shining, the house spirit was strong and the day showcased SOC’s most talented swimmers. This was the last swimming carnival for our Year 12 students who came in some impressive dress up costumes and loud cheering voices. The cheering started with the 100-meter freestyle races and increased in overall decibels when houses had to compete in the novelty event of Splash and Dash. The house swimming carnival reached its thrilling climax when Banksia house claimed victory in the overall events, after a close first round draw for the House Chants. A massive thank you to all the students for their participation and to the teachers who assured a smooth running of the day.

The following students claimed their respective Age Group Champion medals during the ceremony that finished off a wonderful day:
