Beginning of Term 1:
Humanities News
Our Year 9 Humanities students have recently been exploring Civics and Citizenship, building their understanding of the issues that shape our society and the role they play as informed, active citizens.
It has been fantastic to see students thoughtfully sharing the issues they care deeply about and want to understand further. Many expressed strong interest in real-world challenges such as environmental sustainability, homelessness, and social equality.
Through class discussions and activities, students are beginning to recognise how these issues connect to government decision-making, community responsibility, and their own capacity to create change.
We are proud of the respectful and insightful conversations taking place and look forward to seeing students continue to grow their awareness of how they can contribute positively to their communities.
