Year 3/4 Sport

Ms Welton - Year 4 Classroom Teacher

After a relaxing Summer break, students in Year 3 & 4 were eager to get back to one of the highlights of the EPS school week - Sport! Luckily our newly appointed Sports Monitors Ella, Liam, Harriet, Mara, Flossy, Monty, Finn, Alice, Tommy, Poppy, Emily and Edwina were up for the task. While the excessive heat meant a delay for our first session, our new monitors still stepped up by demonstrating the learner asset skills of being Self-Managers and Contributors. This involved attending a planning meeting at recess and dedicating their time at lunch play to practise setting up and packing away the equipment. We are starting the term with Basketball, Lacrosse, Mini Golf and Soccer, and the Sport Monitors are ready to take suggestions from their classmates for ideas for next term. Stay tuned for who our Term 1 winners will be - announced by our monitors at the final assembly for this term.
