Division Swimming Championships
Mr Ben DeNardis - Sports/PE Teacher
Elsternwick Primary School
What a day! On Tuesday February 20th, we took a team of 30 students to GESAC to compete in the Division Swimming Championships against eight other schools.
Our swimmers gave it their all in Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, Breaststroke, and relay events, putting on some amazing performances in the pool.
The support from the team on the sidelines was just as impressive, with plenty of cheering and encouragement throughout the day from all.
Every swimmer contributed, and the effort and determination was incredible to watch.
And the best part… we won the competition! For the first time since 2021, we took out the division swimming championship. An incredible achievement and a credit to the hard work of our swimmers.
A huge congratulations to everyone who competed. You represented the school brilliantly, and we couldn’t be prouder!
