Eva W - 2A

Eva approaches every literacy lesson with outstanding enthusiasm and dedication. She consistently participates with excitement, eagerly sharing creative ideas and expanding on them with rich detail. Eva’s word choices bring her stories to life by incorporating the five senses, allowing readers to fully immerse themselves in her writing. Her passion for storytelling shines through in every piece, making her a truly deserving recipient of this award.

 

Laila F - 4B

Laila has had such a wonderful start to the year. She is a risk taker with her learning especially in English. She is using her imagination in her narrative stories and trying her hardest. She is also showing real care in her handwriting, taking her time and listening well to instructions. Laila asks intelligent questions and is always wanting to learn more. Laila has been such a superstar in Grade 4 so far this year. Keep up the great work Laila!

Mathematics

Maddie D - 2C

Maddie consistently approaches our mathematics lessons with enthusiasm  and enjoys challenging herself as a Mathematician. She sets a great example by sharing her thinking, and contributing to our class discussions. 

When discussing the different ways to make three digit numbers using unifix, Maddie was able to demonstrate and explain her strategies and why they were efficient.

Well done, Maddie! 

 

Amelia M - 4A

Amelia has been selected for the Maths award this term for her consistent focus, effort and attention to detail. She always listens carefully during lessons, ensuring she understands new concepts and her bookwork is neat, clear and well organised. Amelia works well with others, collaborating effectively to solve problems. Her dedication to learning and her positive approach to challenges make her a fantastic role model in the classroom. Well done on a great start to the year, Amelia.

Responsibility/Personal Excellence

Mia P - 2B

Since commencing in Year 2, Mia has consistently followed our classroom agreement and has demonstrated the school values on a daily basis. Mia approaches all learning with a positive, can-do attitude and is always listening attentively ready to learn. She is responsible both within and outside our classroom, showing care and kindness towards all. You’ve been such a wonderful role model for our class. Well done Mia!

 

Leo E - 4C

Leo has had a wonderful start to the school year, demonstrating the school value of Responsibility from day one. He has taken ownership of his own actions; completing tasks in the allocated time and supporting his classmates where necessary. His positive attitude, and willingness to contribute to class discussions have been evident, particularly when completing the Classroom Agreement and Acknowledgement of Country. Well done and keep up the great work Leo!

Curiosity

Heidi M - 2B

This term, it has been wonderful to see Heidi become more confident in asking questions and contributing to class discussions. Her willingness to explore new ideas was particularly evident in our big question lessons on how we can keep ourselves and others healthy, safe and physically active. Keep up the great work and continue being so inquisitive. Well done, Heidi! 

 

Jaxson W - 4A

Jaxson is receiving this award for Curiosity for his eagerness to learn, and his habit of asking thoughtful and clarifying questions. His inquisitive nature inspires his classmates to join in to deeper discussions about topics we are studying, and he is considerate when listening to different perspectives. Jaxson’s engagement when co-creating our Acknowledgement of Country was outstanding as he shared his knowledge with the class in a respectful and meaningful way. You have started the year very positively Jaxson, keep up the good work and enthusiasm.
