Home Learning:

In Week 8, students will be bringing home a Home Learning Display Folder. Inside, you will find two decodable stories. These are short passages that focus on a specific letter sound we have already practised in class in the previous week.

Every student has also received a Yellow Reading Journal. We ask that you use this to keep track of the stories you read together at home each night. Please ensure your child brings their Yellow Journal to school every Monday morning so their teacher can check it and celebrate their progress!

Library:

Our weekly Library session is a wonderful time for children to choose a book that interests them. We encourage you to read these books together multiple times to help your child develop a love for storytelling.

Please remember to bring your Library Bag and book on your child’s specific day:

Note: To keep our library collection growing, students need to return their current book before they can borrow a new one.
