Health & Wellbeing - Respecting Ourselves, Our Friends, and Our Space

This term, our students are exploring what it means to be healthy, safe, and a good friend.  To help us understand our emotions, we are using the Zones of Regulation. This helps children sort their feelings into four colours:

  • Blue Zone: Feeling sad, tired, or bored.
  • Green Zone: Feeling happy, calm, and ready to learn.
  • Yellow Zone: Feeling frustrated, excited, or nervous.
  • Red Zone: Feeling angry or out of control.

We are also practising Personal and Social Skills, such as how to ask for permission when sharing toys and how to play fairly and inclusively with everyone in the classroom as well as in the playground.
