Welcome Event

Our Welcome Event last Friday was a fantastic way to kick off the year, with families coming together to enjoy great food, music and a relaxed evening of connection. The weather held out perfectly, and it was wonderful to see so many new and returning families chatting, laughing and starting the year on such a positive note.

A big thank you to our amazing committee of helpers who worked behind the scenes to make the night run so smoothly, from setting up and packing down to supporting vendors and capturing photos. We truly appreciate everyone who attended and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

New PFC Committee

The PFC Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 3 March, and it was wonderful to welcome so many new members. There was a real sense of enthusiasm and excitement in the room, with everyone eager to get involved and contribute to the year ahead.

We are delighted to announce the PFC Committee for 2026–2027:

PFC Membership

PFC Membership is free; registration is required annually. A PFC Membership registration form for 2026 is available at the School Office.

You must be a registered PFC Member to vote at meetings. 

PFC Meetings

All members of the EHPS community are invited and welcome to attend PFC Meetings that will be held at 7pm in the Staff Room at school on:

Voting at meetings permitted by registered PFC Members only. Collect a PFC Membership registration form from the School Office. 

Yarra Valley Winery Tour

Join us for a wonderful day in the Yarra Valley on Saturday 28 March.

Ticket Price:  $165 per person

Limited Availability:  22 seats

Departure:  10:00am (arrive by 9:45am at front of the school in Essex Road)

Return:  Approx. 4:30-5:00pm at front of the school in Essex Road)

Includes:

• Return transport
• Wine tastings at Sutherland Estate, Yering Farm and Greenstone Vineyards
• Lunch at Rochford Wines (includes a glass of wine)

This is an 18+ event and a fantastic opportunity to connect with other families while supporting our school community.

Easter Raffle

🐣🍫 Get ready for some Easter fun with our Easter Raffle! It’s a great chance for kids to enjoy the excitement of winning egg‑cellent prizes, while parents help support our school and the wonderful programs that benefit our students. Tickets are on sale now, with the raffle to be drawn on Thursday 2 April at the School Assembly the last day of term – don’t miss out on the fun and the chance to in a huge chocolate hamper this Easter! 🌸🎉

Easter Raffle tickets on sale until Wednesday 1 April.

Winners will be drawn at the Grandparents & Special Friends Day Assembly on Thursday 2 April. All proceeds are a fundraiser for our school.

Secondhand Uniform & Lost Property 

We welcome donations of clean, good-quality uniform items with the current EHPS logo (Spartan School World or PSW brands). Items must be in saleable condition (no stains or tears, please use a rag bin for these).

Date for Terms 3 and 4 to be confirmed.

Ritchie’s IGA Loyalty Program

Our school is part of the Ritchies Community Benefit Program (RCBP). 

If you shop at a Ritchies IGA (the local store is in Mount Waverley) and are a member of their loyalty program, please support EHPS by choosing our school as your nominated beneficiary. Each month we receive 0.5% of purchases made by customers who have selected our school each month. Please encourage family and friends who also shop at IGA to support EHPS.
