Camps and Excursions – Medical Plans Requirement

The Department of Education requires schools to hold an up-to-date copy of student medical plans each year for the following conditions:

  • Asthma
  • Epilepsy
  • Diabetes
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Food, insect and medication allergies

If your child no longer requires a medical plan for a condition previously recorded, a letter from a doctor is required to confirm this so we can update our records.

From the start of Term 2, students who require a medical plan but do not have a current plan on file will be unable to attend camps or excursions until this requirement is met.

If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact an Assistant Principal to discuss further.
