Year 3 & 4
Around our level
The last 2 weeks of Term 1 have been lots of fun in Year 3/4. We have been busily publishing a narrative and a persuasive writing piece. Once complete, students are then presenting their persuasive piece to the class. We have been working on speaking in front of our class, using eye contact, and adjusting our voices to engage the audience.

Monday was Crazy Hair Day. We came to school with our hair sprayed, lots of plaits, pigtails, mohawks, and even a palm tree! Assembly was great, as we watched the Year 6s get their hair spray, and even one student had their head shaved. Mrs Smith said that there was one more special person to shave their head, and she was right! It was Mr Franklin! Even his class didn’t know he was going to have his hair cut!

Tuesday was Cross Country, the weather was perfect and we all tried our best. Congratulations to:
8/9 year old girl winners: Chelsea L, Clementine S, Ruhani G.
8/9 year old boys winners: Bentlee M, Simon H, Logan W.
10 year old girl winners: Isla A, Lylah K, Aubrey B.
10 year old boys winners: Lenny M, Harvey W, Clarke W.
We finished off our week with Hot Cross Bun morning tea, Easter raffle, and presentation of our medals at assembly on Thursday morning. Have a wonderful and safe Easter break!
