Year 1 & 2

Students have been learning addition strategies in Maths lessons. They have been using dominoes to play addition games and learnt about ‘friends of 10’. They have made rainbows to 10 or 20 demonstrating their knowledge of addition. 

During Literacy sessions, students have written recounts about the World’s Greatest Shave and their experiences during the recent Cross Country Carnival. We continued our UFLI sessions and read stories about the Easter Bilby.

They have made Easter baskets, and have left them at their table spots hoping for someone special to visit. We will have to wait and see what happens … 

Celebrating our Students

Students are nominated by their teachers to receive a certificate of acknowledgment. The below students' certificates will be presented at our next assembly.
