Around Our Level

On Monday the 30th of March, we celebrated ‘Crazy Hair Day’ and the World’s Greatest Shave, raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Our students came to school with crazy hairstyles, colour-sprayed hair, and crazy wigs. Our school raised over $2,000 dollars, which is a fantastic achievement. A big thank you to Mrs Smith for organising this event.

On Tuesday the 31st of March, our school travelled by bus to Lillydale Lake to compete in our whole-school House Cross Country event. Our Preps did an amazing job on their very first school excursion. They listened well, followed directions, and ran their very best over the 1km course with the support of our wonderful House Captains. They should be so proud of their achievements.

This term at school we have had so many highlights for our Preps, which have included our First Day of School, 10 Days of School, Teddy Bears Picnic, Cross Country, and Crazy Hair Day.

A big shout out to our two elected Junior School Council Reps, Clay A (Prep A) and Lily P (Prep B), who have attended weekly meetings, provide student voice, and assist with future school events. These students will receive their badges at our final assembly this term on Thursday.

A huge thank you to all families that have donated items for the Easter raffle, and for those who assisted with wrapping the hampers.

We wish you all a very safe and relaxing Easter break, and look forward to an exciting Term 2.
