Vicki Wilson Carnival

Rain failed to dampen the spirits of our netball teams last Friday as they participated in the Vicki Wilson Carnival - Peninsula Region at the Martyn Street courts.

Our Senior Boys,  Senior Girls and Junior Girls teams competed against schools from across the Region throughout the day, with all teams  demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship and competitiveness.

Our Senior Girls finished Runners Up after dropping only one game across the day. The Open Boys were competitive in every match and also finished Runners Up in their division.

A big congratulations to our Junior Girls team who went through the carnival undefeated and capped off their day with a thrilling final win that went into overtime.  They now have the opportunity to compete at the State Finals in Brisbane at the start of August.

A huge thank you to our netball students, our parent helpers, and our umpires.ithout their support and enthusiasm the day would not have been such a success.

Special thanks also to our wonderful coaching team: Mrs Tindall, Miss Fields and Mrs Draheim.
