Dear Kingswood Community,

During this term, Years 1, 2, 5 and 6 are working on developing their drawing skills. We have focused on the basic skills of shape, line, tone and texture in simple warm up exercises to help improve their observations of nature to translate into their drawing techniques.

The Year 1's are working on leaves, Year 2's on flowers and Years 5 and 6 are creating a landscape with a cabin.

It is taking us weeks to work on all of the necessary skills and so we hope to bring you some results early next term. The students are focusing so well and just might have found a new talent!!!

Thank you also to all those people who have made donations to the Visual Arts program. Thank you to Ela 1H, Kaitlyn 2D, Cody & Ethan 4P, Matthew 4F, Annie 4P, Mrs Bogicevic and Mrs Lai. I know there was a couple of others, but in my haste to store things, may have lost the names. I apologise if I have missed anyone.
