I want to thank the Kingswood Primary School community for making me feel so at home in my time here so far. It is an absolute pleasure to support the school in the absence of your wonderful principal, Aaron Cox. 

One of the things I’ve particularly enjoyed is the friendliness of the children and chatting to them and the staff about school life. 

Classrooms are warm and inviting spaces where there are special chairs, plants, and books everywhere. Reading is one of my passions, so it is fabulous to see children with books in their hands enjoying their reading. 

Whether I am talking to children or in classrooms, it is clear that there are great things going on here.  Habits of Mind and thinking is happening everywhere!

Routines for transitioning from play time to learning time are evident, and these are so important in creating a calm and orderly environment for children. 

I’d also like to acknowledge the fabulous office and leadership team for taking the time to respond to all my many questions.
