Heavenly Father,

You sent your Son to save us.

Through his life, death and resurrection

you have transformed human life:

Death has become life,

authority is service,

and those in the last place

become the first.

Bring about this transformation in us;

raise us above ourselves,

and give us your chalice to drink.

Give us strength and joy in

serving you as Jesus your Son.
