Learning and Teaching 

Welcome back to Term 4! We hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing break and had the opportunity to spend some quality time with family and friends. It is hard to believe we are already beginning our final term of the school year for 2026!

There is plenty to look forward to as our students return ready for another term of learning, creativity and discovery. Throughout Term 4, students will continue to build on their knowledge and skills while having opportunities to reflect on their learning, take on new challenges and celebrate their achievements.

Our Term 4 Faith-Based Inquiry focus is Transformation, with a particular focus on Media Arts. Students will explore how we can use images, sound, moving images, words and digital technologies to share ideas, tell stories and communicate messages.

Through engaging and creative experiences, students will have opportunities to become creators as well as consumers of media. They will explore how the choices we make when creating a photograph, video, digital artwork or other media can influence the way a message is understood and how an audience feels.

Our learning will connect with some important events and celebrations throughout the term, including Remembrance Day, Advent and Christmas. These occasions provide wonderful opportunities for students to explore ideas of gratitude, respect, remembrance, hope, peace and celebration through creative and meaningful experiences.

As we begin our final term, we look forward to seeing our students continue to flourish as learners, embrace new opportunities and share their creativity with our school community. Term 4 is always a special time of reflection and celebration and we look forward to finishing the year together on a positive note.
