International Students Program

International Camp in Great Ocean Road was a highlight. Exploring the Great Ocean Road, Surfing lessons and Cape Otway Ziplines. We also held our annual International Food Day which is when our international students prepare dishes from their home country to feed our staff as a thank you for teaching them as well as a celebration of their cultures. This term we farewell 2 Japanese students who are short term and returning home. It has been wonderful to have Yuna and Kengo here at Elwood College and we wish them well for their future studies. This term we also have 5 students graduating from our English Language Centre who will join their peers in the mainstream classes at Year 7, Year 9 and Year 10. Congratulations to those graduating students on their hard work to develop their English skills. The last highlight is the upcoming France Study Tour which will see 15 French language students from Elwood College travel to France for 18 days. They will immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of Paris, Avignon, Nice and Monaco as well as experience French schooling in Bordeaux with our partner school. The students and teachers going on this trip are looking forward to an amazing experience.
