Voice of the Students

In The Classroom With Year 3

The Year Threes have made a fantastic start to Term 4. They have returned to school with confidence, enthusiasm and plenty of energy, settling back into their learning and classroom routines beautifully. In Literacy, we have been exploring the art of persuasion through a variety of persuasive writing activities. The students are learning to use strong, convincing language to capture their readers’ attention, express their opinions clearly and persuade others to see their point of view. In Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL), we have been revisiting the important value of Responsibility. Working in pairs, the students created posters illustrating what responsibility looks like in our classroom and school community. We are proud to see so many responsible Year Three students consistently striving to follow our Positive Behaviour Learning expectations. It has been wonderful to see the students embrace Term 4 with such a positive attitude, and we look forward to another exciting and successful term of learning!
