Faith Matters at

St Francis Xavier School

Dear St Francis Xavier Families,

Congratulations to six of our Year 4 students who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation last Wednesday evening.  My sincere thanks to the families who supported their children through the expectations and process required for this sacrament.

As always, our Year 3/4 teachers Mr Brendan and Miss Debbie ensured the students were well prepared for the evening and helped the children learn about the teachings of Jesus and the practise of being forgiven and in turn forgiving others.

Thank you also to Fr Jude and Fr Micheal who facilitated the evening in a spirit of reverence and joyful understanding. It was great to see several of our SFX staff present to support the  students who will prepare for the Sacrament of Eucharist next term.

Baptism For School Aged Children

Responsibility for the preparation of school aged students for the Sacrament of Baptism will now be managed by the parish. If you have a child who is at our school and would like them to be baptised, please contact the Parish Office for an enrolment form 9783 3484. Baptism preparation will involve some preparation sessions for the children and their parents/carers.

Mothers' Day Morning

All families should have received an invitation to our Mothers' Day Morning which is on May 5th.  Please respond by Friday 24th April to let us know if you will be attending.
