Today, our whole school came together for a special reflection on the important events of Holy Week through a series of creative “Easter Freeze Frames.” Each class was given a significant moment from the Easter story and worked collaboratively to present it as a still, silent scene. It was a powerful way for students to deepen their understanding of Jesus’ journey and the meaning of Easter.
Students showed great creativity, teamwork, and reverence as they carefully planned their poses, expressions, and symbols to communicate each event. As we moved through the freeze frames, we were able to reflect on the key moments leading up to Easter Sunday, helping us to better understand the story at the heart of our faith.
Our class, 5/6W, presented the scene of the Resurrection of Jesus. This is one of the most important moments in Holy Week, as Catholics believe it is a sign of hope, joy, and new life. The Resurrection reminds us that Jesus rose from the dead and is always with us. It shows God’s great power and love for all people, and gives us hope even in difficult times. This special moment encourages us to live with faith, trust, and the promise of new beginnings.
We are very proud of the respect and thoughtfulness all students showed during this activity. The Easter Freeze Frames were a meaningful way for our school community to come together in faith and reflection during this special time.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of term! Our students proudly shared the incredible learning they have been engaged in over the past weeks, and their hard work was evident in every display.
Families had the opportunity to view a range of meaningful work, including thoughtful prayers about caring for our environment, reflecting both creativity and a growing sense of responsibility. Students also showcased their narrative storybooks, demonstrating their developing writing skills, imagination, and attention to detail.
In Inquiry, students explored the three levels of Australian government and presented their understanding through creative triarama models, highlighting the responsibilities of local, state, and federal governments.
Students also presented their Catholic Social Teaching posters through a social justice lens, exploring important issues such as supporting the poor and promoting the dignity of women. These presentations showed a deepening awareness of how we can care for others and make a positive difference in the world.
We are incredibly proud of the effort, enthusiasm, and growth shown by all students this term. Thank you to our families for your continued support and for joining us in celebrating their achievements.
