Prep Community Walk

Our Prep students had a wonderful time exploring our local community on our Prep Community Walk! We took a walk around the outside of our school and discovered many interesting things along the way.
The students were excited to spot a postie, letter boxes and their numbers, work vans, the local retirement village, roundabouts and street signs. We also saw our local high school and talked about the different places and people that make up our community.
To finish our adventure, we enjoyed some playtime at the Capital Reserve park. It was a fantastic opportunity for our Preps to explore their surroundings, make connections with the world around them and practise being safe and responsible members of our community. What a wonderful morning of learning, exploring and discovering!
A special thank you to Carmen for being our parent helper for the morning!
