Dunlop

Term 3 has been another busy term. There has been lots happening and so many achievements to celebrate. 

Holly our Dunlop House Captain has been working with the other House Captains to run a successful interhouse competition during mentor time. The House Captains worked together to create an Olympic themed charades activity that was then implemented by our mentor leaders. 

We had a very successful House Assembly, which was led by Holly to acknowledge the fantastic work of our Dunlop students. We were able to congratulate our NAPLAN high achievers as well as Callum Holroyd and Thomas Lane who were members of the intermediate boys netball team that won the state title. We also recognised the fantastic work of our Dunlop students who achieved outstanding results in cross country and athletics: 

Cross Country: 

Charlie Miller – Year 7 Cross Country Champion 

Curtis Rajoo – Boys 15 years Cross Country Champion 

Athletics: 

Shiwon Ji – Boys 13 years Athletics Champion 

Alex Giossserano – Boys 14 years Athletics Champion 

Cheryl Chen – Girls 16 years Athletics Champion 

 We wish all the students who have progressed to the EMR competition of athletics, all the best with their events in term 4. 

At the whole school assembly, further Dunlop students were celebrated for their achievements in the Music Program along with Partaj Dhaliwal, Lorenz Klinger-Horsburgh and Jessica Hunter for their effort in obtaining the Duke of Ed Bronze award and Jackson Fabry for his effort in state diving. 

From the Dunlop Leadership team we wish the year 12 students, all the best with their trial exams and exam preparation over the holiday break. 

We look forward to celebrating their final days with them next term.  

Now that we are at the end of term 3, here is a chance to get to know you Dunlop House Leadership Team a little better!
