VSSEC - Victorian Space Science Education Centre
On 9th and 12th September - Unit 2 Chemistry students visited the Victorian Space Science Education Centre: Students were involved in conducting two analytical investigations using appropriate scientific design and methods to support the health of astronauts for long-term space exploration.
All students had the opportunity to conduct investigations using the Atomic Absorption Spectrometer and the UV-Visible Spectrometer to perform instrumental analysis.
As scientists, students were responsible for creating and testing standard solutions and samples and interpreting their data.
We were extremely proud of all the students and their involvement at the centre.
