State Track & Field Championships
On Monday 20th October, a cold and rainy day, our dedicated athletes braved the weather to compete at the School Sport Victoria State Track & Field Championships at Lakeside Stadium. Ibrahim delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 4th in Javelin and earning medals in both the 100m and 200m - achieving personal bests, only to be edged out by a competitor who broke the state record in both races. Cristvie finished 4th, his PB would have won him a medal but the boys who won beat his PB by over 1 metre. To top off an already impressive day, both boys went on to attend NPL soccer trials. We are incredibly proud of their resilience, determination, and the way they represented Yarrabing with pride.
