Prep - Wildlife Park

On Wednesday 31 July the Prep students travelled to the Ballarat Wildlife Park.

This excursion is part of our Term three Inquiry on Australian Animals, students visited the Ballarat Wildlife Park to enhance their understanding and knowledge around native animals, including their features, survival techniques and habitats. The Preps thoroughly enjoyed the day and learnt lots of new and interesting facts about Australian animals to help them back at school. 

Some highlights were seeing the koala joeys, watching the fairy penguins swim past to say hello and patting a real snake. 

Many preps were heard saying, “This is the best day ever!”
