Year 3 Excursion to Enchanted Adventure
On Friday 14 August, our Year 3 students had a fantastic time at Enchanted Adventure at Arthurs Seat, taking on a range of exciting challenges and activities. Students explored the mazes, raced down the tube slides and took on the tree surfing courses. Tree surfing was a particular highlight, with students showing courage as they faced their fears and stepped outside their comfort zones. Throughout the day, students demonstrated resilience, teamwork, problem solving and a willingness to encourage one another to have a go. It was great to see students supporting their friends, taking positive risks and challenging themselves to try something new.

Year 4 Camp at Golden Valley
In Week 6, our wonderful Year 4 students had an amazing time at Golden Valley Camp, taking on a range of exciting challenges and activities. Students braved the Giant Swing, Vertical Challenge and Flying Fox, as well as participating in a variety of team-building activities. Throughout the camp, students pushed their limits, stepped outside their comfort zones and encouraged one another to have a go. It was fantastic to see students demonstrate courage, resilience, teamwork and a willingness to try new things. The experience provided plenty of opportunities for students to challenge themselves, build friendships and create some wonderful memories together.

"We did the Vertical Challenge which is when you get to race to the top to squeeze a rubber chicken. All of the challenges were fun but difficult. When you got to the top, it felt like you just won a marathon!"

"The Giant Swing was really fun. When you go to the top, you swing down and it made an awesome ‘WOOSH!” noise. The Zip Line was fantastic because you could go upside down and go hands-free! We stayed up all night and felt wrecked in the morning. Worth it!"

I liked the Giant Swing because I was able to face my fears in ways I couldn’t understand! I also enjoyed the sculpture park before we arrived at camp because they had really amazing sculptures. I also loved hanging out with my friends in the cabins… Except when no one wanted to sleep!
