Congratulations to Bella Harris who beautifully performed The Swan by Saint-Saens on her cello at our Foundation Day Assembly last Friday. This lyrical tune is derived from The Carnival of the Animals suite and was particularly enjoyed by our Primary students, who were very attentive. Thank you Bella!
All students enrolled in our Ensemble program are required to complete the 2024 Commitment Contract. This form ensures that students and families understand the school policy around attendance and commitment. Please could all students complete this form before 1 March.
Musicfest is an opportunity for students to perform as soloists on their instrument/voice. This year we will be running Musicfest as a Primary event. We encourage all our Primary musicians in Years 2-6 to start preparing a piece in preparation for this event which will take place in Week 9 this term.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday 18 March | Piano |
Tuesday 19 March | Strings/Guitar |
Wednesday 20 March | Band/Vocal |
Students must be receiving lessons on their chosen instrument to be eligible to perform. All sessions will take place in our Assembly Hall.
Secondary students will have a similar opportunity on Arts Day in Term 2 - more information will be communicated soon.
